Brisbane will open its summer festival season with a bang when SYNTHONY Festival takes over Riverstage on Saturday, 4 October. The internationally acclaimed series, now in its fifth edition, has carved out a reputation for fusing electronic dance music with the sheer force of a full orchestra, and the Brisbane leg promises to be no exception.

At the heart of the night is SYNTHONY No.5, a reimagining of anthems from Tiësto, Eric Prydz, Avicii, Calvin Harris and more. Backed by The Metropolitan Orchestra Brisbane and conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams, the show brings three decades of dance floor staples to life in a way that feels both nostalgic and completely new.

Part of a national tour that has already lit up Melbourne and is bound for Adelaide, Perth and Sydney, the Brisbane edition offers more than just a gig; it’s a one-night collision of dance culture, orchestral grandeur and outdoor summer vibes.
